Coconut Industry Board - Coconut Shop
Project Overview
The Coconut Industry Board's Coconut Shop is known for providing fresh, quality coconut-based goods and coconut water, and is one of the ways the board actively works to stimulate the market for coconut-based products in Jamaica. The Coconut Shop produces a number of products in-house, as well as the bottled coconut water it is most known for. Our work with the shop, through the board, has covered packaging and label design for these products.
The Architectural Challenges
The key challenge for some of the products was sourcing the right types of packaging locally: materials that meet the technical requirements for preserving fresh coconut water while presenting well at retail.
Tailored Solutions
Partnerships enabled us to provide creative solutions to the board's packaging challenges. We designed the label system across the range and guided the board through the Bureau of Standards approval process, coordinating supplier selection and testing so the products could ship compliant and consistent.
